We are part of the National u3a but we are an autonomous, self-help, organisation offering learning, creative and leisure opportunities in a very friendly environment.

The Wolverhampton branch has about thirty very diverse groups offering a wide range of activities including walking, art appreciation, languages, history and creative arts. There’s an interest to appeal to everyone.

What is the ‘u3a’ ?

u3a is a UK-wide movement of over 1000 locally run interest groups providing a wide range of opportunities to come together to learn and participate for fun. Members explore new ideas, skills and activities together. It's all voluntary.

Membership open to people generally approaching or already in their ‘third age’ and not working full-time.

u3a groups have members with knowledge, skills and experience to teach and learn from each other.
No qualifications to gain – it is just for keeping active, pleasure and involvement.
