The Reading Group on Contemporary History started in 2016. It meets on the second Thursday of each month at 10.00 am at Tettenhall Wood Institute or via Zoom. Members take turns to put forward a non-fiction text (book or other substantial item) to be read, then present it briefly for discussion at one of the monthly meetings. Subject matter can be very varied - from any area of cultural, social, political, local, national and international history, for example, and substantially relevant to the last 85 years.
